My name is Marcus Falley. I am an Independent Search and Web Analytics Consultant, father of four boys aged 4 to 18 and inspired by my partner in life Fiona Heard, who is not only incredibly intelligent, she is also a great artist.
After 6 1/2 years of experience gained while working with large enterprises and a total of ten years working on websites in one form or another, it is time to share my in-depth knowledge of best practice web development, ecommerce, search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), pay per click (PPC), online brand name protection, information access technology and web analytics.
My primary goal with my Independent Consultancy is to help businesses define measures of success for their web related projects and then match those measures to a solution with detailed reporting, which provides actionable information to help drive informed decisions.
My aim with this blog is to air some of my pet peeves related to website development or just simply using and traversing the web personally. I hope that I can add to intelligent and informed discussion in this space and invite your feedback.
